Community Shares' April heroes give kids a strong start, serve rape victims



Community Shares, a partner of Madison Commons, recognizes two volunteers each month. The volunteers come from Community Shares' member groups and are selected for their service to the community and to community issues.

Over the last eight years, she has been a faithful volunteer who donates time every day to NMCS’s kindergarten classroom. Her warmth and compassion, her dedication and commitment to NMCS have given many kindergartners a wonderful beginning to their school experience.

She regularly signs up for twice as many shifts as required and sought additional to improve her volunteer skills. Jackie is a valuable and generous resource for our clients, staff, and volunteers.
