New Cambodian restaurant on Park St. might be the first of its kind in the state. The State Journal’s Take a Tour of Madison’s Neighborhoods continues this week with Meadowood, Burr Oaks, Allied Dunn’s Marsh, and Emerson East. After this week’s shooting incident, some concerned neighbors are calling for the closure of a Mobil gas station on East Washington St. The Westside Community Market is moving to University Row.

La Communidad News will celebrate its 25th anniversary this week. Amidst student protests, UW - Madison has decided not to let an Amazon pick-up point move into the Red Gym. A proposed ordinance aims to increase gas station security in order to prevent credit card skimmers from being placed on gas pumps. Yoga and meditation for MPD, who will participate in a new UW study on mindfulness. The new class of MPD recruits are learning how to present themselves to the community.
