UW-Madison professor Patty Loew launched the second edition of her book, "Indian Nations of Wisconsin: Histories of Endurance and Renewal” at the Wisconsin Historical Museum on Thursday.
The new edition covers contemporary history of Wisconsin’s Native communities, including chapters on urban Indians and the Brothertown Indian Nation, which is still seeking federal recognition.
