Among MMSD high school graduates, one finds her counternarrative

Madison Memorial High School senior Shaikobie McGee provides a counternarrative. Education Editor Melissa Behling shares the story of McGee, who has defied the odds and charted her own path to success despite systemic barriers, in her documentary "Changing the Narrative [2]."

Graduating from Madison Memorial High School next weekend, McGee changed her story with the help of an influential teacher and encouragement from Black Student Union.
