Over the next ten days, Madison Commons will release a series of five videos profiling participants in the Madison Apprenticeship Program (MAP). MAP is a community-based, 12-week course in life skills, job-skill training, and confidence building that serves residents of the Allied-Dunn neighborhood.
The series, which highlights the personal stories of MAP participants, is part of our on-going section on City Life, which highlights the diversity of living conditions and life stories in the Madison Community.
The first story in the MAP series introduces Diana Shinall, founder, director and instructor at MAP. It can be found here. Stay tuned for four more.

Welcome to the Madison Commons, a website designed to provide news and information about all of Madison's neighborhoods and a crossroads for the discussion of community issues. The name comes from the idea of a village commons, a place for news, talk, debate, and some entertainment, too, that's open to everyone.
