Madison Metropolitan School District seeks community input on superintendent search

The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) distributed an online survey last week that asks residents to define  the qualities they desire in the new superintendent. The survey is available in Hmong and Spanish, as well as English, online.  It will close on Sept. 21.

According to a press release issued by MMSD school board, the information will be used to help the school board create a profile of what the community desires as the board searches for candidates.

In addition to the survey, the MMSD board wants community input about the superintendent search at two public sessions that will begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 at East High School and on Sept. 20 at Memorial High School.
