Managing Editor Intern / Maeghan Chase
Maeghan is a senior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication studying both strategic communication and reporting. She has a background in public relations, interning on both agency and in-house teams, as well as editorial experience at Moda Magazine, a student-led fashion and lifestyle magazine in Madison. She is excited to collaborate with the Madison Commons to help shine light on the Madison community, as well as on student voices.
Legal Affairs Reporting Intern / Noah Maze
Noah is a double major in journalism and legal studies with a certificate in criminal justice. He was an intern for two different criminal defense firms, most recently Strang Bradley in Madison. Noah ran the Madison marathon last year, and he is training again right now. He loves sports, politics, snowboarding and cheering for the Badgers.
Reporting Intern / Lily Spanbauer
Lily is a senior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, studying reporting and multimedia journalism. When she’s not writing music reviews for the Daily Cardinal or talking too much in her writing classes, she is probably going for a run or getting tackled at rugby practice. Above all else, Lily believes in the power of storytelling and is excited to show that here at Madison Commons.
Reporting Intern / Whitney West
Whitney is a senior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications studying reporting and environmental studies. She has experience in reporting at the Daily Cardinal for both science and life and style. Outside of journalism, she is a passionate hiker and loves being outdoors. Whitney is excited to work with Madison Commons to share local stories and amplify community voices.
