Exhibit features visually impaired artists

From Oct. 14 to Nov. 30, the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired will host 'Vision Through Time,' an art exhibit showcasing Wisconsin artists who are visually impaired or blind. The exhibit features Dr. Stephanie Joy Smith from Madison, Jeannie Nylander from La Crosse, and Rose and Alison Fortney from Milwaukee.

The Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired began in 1952 with the mission to advocate for the blind and visually impaired on legislative issues. Today, the non-profit organization educates the public and provides services for Wisconsin’s visually impaired and blind. The organization provides vision services, assistive products, free white canes, and computer technology training.
